A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Julia Parker moved to New England at the age of ten. Upon graduation from the University of New Hampshire, Julia moved to Manhattan where she studied acting at the famed HB Studios with William Hickey.
After a successful modeling career with such companies as "Catalina Swimwear" and "Nike,” Julia relocated to Los Angeles where she continued her training at the prestigious Odyssey Theater and the Larry Moss Studios. This led to roles in such projects as the Emmy-nominated MOW, The Flight That Fought Back (2005) (TV), a guest spot on 90210 (2008) and had a role alongside Matthew Perry on the hit show GO ON (2012)
Julia continued to get offered and worked in roles in the award-winning feature Ashes (2010/III) along with the feature film Reservation (2010/I). 2011 was also the year digital filmmaking pioneer Neil Johnson cast her as Dr. Brenna in Alien Armageddon (2011). Her role in A Girl, A Guy, A Space Helmet (2011) earned her a Best Ensemble Award.
Most recently, her upcoming work will be seen in the feature film THE TEN: TAKE in the starring role as "Constance Anderson” along with portraying the role of "First Lady, Isabelle Jameson" in the web series pilot for THE PLOY and as psychotherapist, “Georgia Harding”, in the feature S2K. A recognized host of many infomercials, red-carpet events and on-line entertainment websites, Julia has been hand-picked to interview celebrities, super models, newscasters and politicians. Her charming personality, charisma and sheer acting talent have engaged audiences and filmmakers since her acting debut in her high school production of Woody Allen's Don't Drink the Water (1969).
An ardent traveler and photographer, Julia has visited such places as China, Thailand, Italy, France, Spain, Aruba, Japan, Tahiti and Morocco, Julia’s award-winning acting abilities encompass the diverse needs for any given role.
